23 Feb 2010

Not sure who this guy is, except he's a villain... I had a villain character in mind when I started drawing - someone I need to design, but this isn't him! Since I intend for him to fight Atlas Parker, maybe I'll delve into mythology for a name...

James sketch

just a quick sketch of a recent model. didn't capture his face as well as I'd have liked, but... it was just a quick sketch. I plan to work on more.

Superman

man of steel! just a quick drawing of Supes... didn't add details that I normally would, like chest hair. May go back and fix that. May not.

Athena Parker

Athena Parker is the twin sister of Atlas Parker. When they were born, Athena and Atlas were blessed by the gods they were named after. Athena's power is wisdom. She knows all the shared knowledge of the past 100 years or so. While she does have a super-guardian uniform that she sometimes wears, Athena prefers comfortable, flowing dresses...

Batgirl & Headlights

Here are Batgirl and Headlights. Yes - Headlights is a real character... She had 1 issue of her comic published in the 1990's, by Personality Comics I believe. Her power was that car headlights had been implanted in her breasts. The concept had the makings for a fun romp and a poke at all the "Bad Girl" stuff that was going on then, but the art and story fell short. The best thing about the comic was the cover! Still, I took a shine to Headlights, and used her in a fan art strip I did for an amateur press association - - the strip was pure silliness, but fun.
